Some Smart Playlists don't work on ...

Hello,

I have a 16 gig 3G that has been working pretty well. Since 3.0 (I think) it sometimes decides to skip multiple songs in a play list. If I try to go back to the real next song, it just skips to where it was. If I exit the playlist or iPod mode and go back all is fine, it isn't too big a deal.

After I did the iTunes 9 and iPhone 3.1 upgrade, I have a smart play list that will not keep the right order when it goes to the phone. It is doing this for 2 of the 5 smart play lists I have on the phone. I have restored the phone. I have deleted the play lists from my computer and re-made them and it still does it. In fact the play lists are set to be random, yet when they transfere to the phone they go to a specific order that stays the same even when the play list has been deleted and re-made.

Any thoughts?
