Hi there, I've had a quick browse through and couldn't see any other topics that fit my question so I was hoping someone could helpI know you guys are the best for answering questions!
The problem I have is that I've organised all my compilations on my Macbook in iTunes using the sort artist as various artist so that they all appear together and under one album art on coverflow.
The problem occurs when I transfer them over to my iPhone. When I look through my list I can not find the artist contained within the compilation as stand alone artists, also when looking at an artist that I have that has an ordinary album and has a song in a compilation, it shows their individual album as well as all compilations album labelled by art artist as various, thus meaning I can not listen to all songs by that artist
If anyone knows of a way to organise music so that in coverflow it is organised so that compilations stay together and on the iPhone they are organised by artist ( so all songs appear that would be much appreciated.
I have group compilations turned on in prefs and I automatically sync my iPhone (so can't alter the files on the iPhone.
