A very strange behavior has come up since updating to iTunes9 and iPhoneOs 3.1. iTunes syncs all the music that is listed in my 7 smart playlists to the iPhone. Unfortunately the iPhone has its very own way of handling these lists. It uses the names and offers a totally different program: a wild mixture of titles which do not really seem to follow a pattern (ok , one list is somehow in alphabetical order, the other six seem totally "genius" ).
I checked my computer with an iPhone 2G/3.0 and and iPod touch 3.1.1. This mentioned creativity is a 3Gs only feature.
And, ordinary playlists show the correct titles.
Any ideas?
