Original iPhone in original Universal ...

Hey there,

I've got an original iPhone and the original Universal Dock (the one with an S-Video outlet and no remote). I was hoping I could use it to hook up the iPhone to a stereo, using the dock's Line Out. Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to work. iPods play fine through the dock's Line Out, just the iPhone doesn't. The iPhone does, however, play fine through the Line Out of the dock it came in (unfortunately that only holds iPhones and not other iPods which is why it's not an option for the stereo arrangement).

Is there a way to make the iPhone play through the dock's Line Out?
